I picture this painting like a song on an album. It isn’t a hit single, or even a song they put either side of a single, but I feel it has something, maybe like the song you always skip on the album then years later becomes your favourite tune.

this painting has been in out of the studio for years, adding bits here and there but never feeling like I knew what I was doing with it. over the weekend I decided to change the background colour and introduce more red tones with the crown or roses, I’m feeling the vibe a lot more now. she’s getting close. x

she sleeps next to me as I write this, I think I’ve slept at least a good solid 30mins all night, I will crash after lunch I suspect. I think I will take mushrooms with breakfast this morning, wear my shades all day and visit art galleries. I’m not sure if i missed a moment to kiss her last night, or maybe it was never on, aww the two simple words of ‘what if’. she is educated, I feel like I should know more bigger words when I’m around her, she’s sound and beautiful, her life is career driven but she don’t like the countryside, I’m just happy if I can paint something cool and pay rent each month, the search for the one will continue I suspect. I love my life and give thanks to all that is in it.

I could smell alcohol on his breath, but i knew his words were sincere, he was also the only person not sat with a phone in his hand.

I’m not sure you truly exist when I’m not around, but you’re my favourite day dream, I don’t know where you went or if you’re cumming again, but the seed you planted in my mind, I’ll water it everyday with all my other wildflowers

Not sure if my mood is dictating the painting or if l’m manifesting it with pigment, either way works 🌹🌈

My dog Buddy has no idea that everyone I meet already knows about him. He doesn’t know l share him on social media and that he healed something he didn’t break.

He doesn’t know I use him as an excuse to leave somewhere early, or that my heart skips a beat when I look at his stupid grinning face, he’s my favourite chapter.

and that jump he does with the bite in the air when we get to the edge of the house, the one that has ripped multiple jackets and tops, but I have never correct the behaviour once because as much as I hate it, I love it twice as much, cus I know it’s part of his love language.

Happy to have you on the team Mr Buddy Barka x

I think it’s coming together quite nicely this painting for one of my neighbours. the design is something different than my usual style, but it’s always fun to try something new.
